About Me

I have over 35 years of experience in the design and administration of employee benefit plans and achieved enrolled actuary status in 1983, which remains active today. In 1982, I passed my associateship examinations with the Society of Actuaries. I also have extensive experience with retirement plan audits, resolving each matter favorably.

From 1992–1993, I worked with the Congressional Committee on IRS Oversight. For more than 29 years, I have provided expert witness testimony and forensic support services in complex litigation matters. In more than 190 trials, courts have favored my testimony over competing experts in approximately 89% of matters tried. I have also contributed significantly to the development of Florida case law involving complex family law financial issues.

I am available for expert witness testimony, trial consulting, and appellate consulting involving highly technical financial matters.

I have authored and coauthored nearly 20 articles published in official state bar journals on forensic topics involving family law, employment law, and personal injury matters. I have also authored and coauthored numerous additional articles in legal publications, including the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Journal. My work has been cited in appellate opinions and quoted in publications including Lawyers Weekly and The Huffington Post. Over the course of my career, I have been invited to speak before numerous legal and professional organizations, including the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the Florida Bar, the Georgia State Bar Employment Section, and the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA). Many of these presentations were approved for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit. I have also spoken before numerous local bar associations and previously sponsored a Florida Bar CLE program approved for both general and appellate credit.

I was selected for AAML Best Experts (1995–1996) and later recognized in Best Experts in America for Employment and Family Law from 2006–2012.

I am typically retained in matters involving significant financial exposure, complex litigation issues, or disputes where accurate financial analysis is essential to achieving a fair and well-supported outcome.
